This brief learning opportunity will prepare participants to describe best practices for managing difficult IUC placements and removals, identify clinical scenarios that may impact IUC placement, discuss potential risks to clients related to difficult IUC placements, list steps to manage IUC removals when device strings are not visible.

Participants will also be able to identify effective approaches to ease client pain during and after IUC placement and discuss anticipatory counseling for clients to enhance understanding of IUC use.
