In this 3.5-hour, instructor-led course, University of Georgia-affiliated learners will take part in an interactive, simulated new employee orientation on SBIRT (screening, brief intervention, and referral to treatment for substance use) at a fictional healthcare center. Participants will apply and test their knowledge through interactive games, case scenarios, and quizzes following each module. The goal of this course is to help participants develop their knowledge, skills, and abilities in using SBIRT as an intervention with patients.
This course is for University of Georgia-affiliated learners. If you are not affiliated with the University of Georgia, please register for the main SBIRT for Health and Behavioral Health Professionals course, which you will find in the SBIRT category on HealtheKnowledge's main page.
